Walking Groups in the High Peak

A programme of led health walks in the High Peak including Glossop, New Mills, Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Hayfield and Buxton

The Walks

There are three levels of walk:

Very easy walk- Short walks for people who are recuperating from serious illness, people who have weight problems or sedentary lifestyles

Easy Walk- Up to 3 miles, lasting about 1 and a half hours, may include some stiles and slight inclines.

Moderate Walks- Longer, more challenging walks of up to 5 miles, likely to include stiles, ascent and descent.

There are a number of walks that allow for people with wheelchairs or pushchairs. For more details please use contact details on the right.
