Congratulations to Martin Stephens. Martin has been leading the Melbourne Joggers for over 2 years and has in that time recruited mare than 60 beginner joggers. Martin has also recently launched a Nordic Walking group alongside his jogging sessions to enable people with very low fitness levels to be more active.
The judges felt that Martin went the extra mile supporting his joggers at events, providing books and other training guides as well as giving up lots of time to provide 1-1 support for some joggers whilst training for half marathons and 10k races.
Martin will receive a £100 voucher to spend at the Derby Runner. Click here to visit the Derby Runner website.
Once again most leaders received at least one nomination and we have received some fantastic testimonials which will be published here over the coming weeks.
Thank you to all our leaders for another brilliant year!
