Longshaw Estate Trails

White East Lodge Longshaw EstateNext run - Sunday 7 December. Take to the trails with Jog Derbyshire and the National Trust around the Longshaw Estate, near Hathersage with it's backdrop of dramatic rugged moorland. Choose from a 3 mile or 1.6 mile route... no competition, no timing, just fun and friendly trail runs for all ages and abilities. If you are enthusiastic, supportive of beginners, have some running experience and a bit of free time, and are willing to complete a one-day course, then why not give it a go?


Derbyshire Dynamos - take the next step

Derbyshire Dynamos is a club run by Jog Leaders and our group joggers.  It's an optional ‘next step’ for those who wish to be more competitive, enter races and enjoy some of the benefits offered by other running clubs.  Being part of Jog Derbyshire's UKA affiliated running club comes with a host of benefits including discounted race entry and access to exclusive kit.  Find out more...

New Groups

New groups are starting every month.  To find out more please use our online group search.  Or why not set up your own group?  Jog Leader training is free. 

A friendly new mixed ability group has started up in Baslow on Thursdays. The group meet at Baslow Village Hall at 6.00 pm. Contact Becky Lyne, Tyumph Health 07855 943236 to book your place.

New beginners group starting in Oakwood for those wishing to train for the Derby 10k in April 2015. The group will meet on Fridays 7.00 pm at Springwood Leisure Centre. Contact Gaynor Bickley, Jog Oakwood on 07879 054043 for details.

The Zone Running Club are a new mixed ability group starting in Heanor on Wednesdays at 6.00pm (beginners welcome) and Sundays at 8.20 am (interval/speed sessions). Meet at Studio Zone Fitness and the cost is £1.00 (free to members). Contact or call 01773 711446 for details.

Jog Alvaston Park is a new group aimed at beginners meeting outside the Pavilion on Tuesdays at 10.30am.  £2 per session or £15 for 10 week block.  Contact Jog Leader Phil Rose on 07809 692619 for details.

New Jog Group starting at Eastwood Park, Hasland.  The group will be meeting on Thursdays at 7.00pm at the main gates of Eastwood Park.  Why not give Jog Leader Craig Jenkinson a call on 07814 746370 to book your place. All abilities welcome.
