Active Derbyshire is supporting a number of organisations across Derbyshire, including the Derbyshire Community Sports Trust and Pedal Peak District , to promote and develop cycling. We want to get more people cycling- of all ages, for travel and for fun!
The Community Sports Trust has established a Cycle Derbyshire facebook page and twitter account, so that we can share information on the vast array of cycling opportunities around the county.
We are lucky in Derbyshire, to have great trails, off road cycling, family cycling, electric bikes and options for all ages and abilities.
Derbyshire County Council have produced a great map, which shows you where to go across the whole county. Useful information on their website too.

Where to Cycle in Derbyshire
There are many cycle hire centres across the County allowing you to hire a bike and enjoy the beautiful countryside even if you don't own a bike.
The Peak District National Park has 58 miles of off-road cycling trails and hundreds more quiet country routes so ideal for cyclists of all abilities. Follow the link below for lots of useful information about cycling in the National Park including cycle hire venues and route maps.
