Active Derbyshire is a countywide campaign to encourage and support you to become more active by providing you with the information you need to get started, inspiring you to try new challenges and motivating you to carry on. We're not just here for the sporty types. We want to help everyone, no matter what their age or ability or fitness level.
An initiative encouraging workers to become more active is proving a hit. 1,068 individuals and 179 workplaces have already signed up to the Derbyshire Workplace Challenge alone. Our easy-to use online Activity and Event Search has everything from archery to zumba from Glossop on the northern edge of the Peak District down to Swadlincote on the South Derbyshire border and all the way across from Bolsover to Buxton.
The first National Golf Month will take place in May across the UK to encourage more people to take up golf and for lapsed players to get back into the game. Click on the logo to find a golf club in Derbyshire near you.
